Day 1 – Festivus Opener (Nov 27)

Board Game Tournament (all day)
- Scored on Mitch's cool Excel sheet
Opening Mixer and the Wall of Disappointments (12:00–2:00 PM)
- Beer
- The mini-Airng of Grievances: Guests share any number of gripes on sticky notes posted to the “Wall of Disappointments.”
Festivus Dinner (5:00–7:00 PM)
- Menu: Meatloaf on lettuce
- Ritual: Airing of Grievances during dinner. Each person has one minute to tell others how they’ve been disappointed in the past year by other members of the party.
Feats of Strength (7:30–8:30 PM)
- Competitions (trivia duels, arm-wrestling, farting contest)
- Final “pinning” of the head of household closes the ritual

All-day Catan Tournament
- Round 1: Base game.
- Round 2: Seafarerers
- Round 3: Cities and Knights
- Round 4: Treasures, Dragons, and Adventurers
Festivus Maximus Celebration (8:00–11:00 PM)
- Buffet dinner & desserts (Festivus cookies, pole cupcakes)
- Ceremony: “Festivus Miracles” declared
